Benjamin Durbin
Armies: Space Marines, Tyranids, Sisters of Battle, Orks-- and lots of stuff in the Workshop.
Play Style: Assault!
Comments: I started playing back in the days of Rogue Trader with a Genestealer Cult. Those formative years left me with a need for troops that can be counted on to go where they're told and to stay there, even under heavy fire, until I am ready for them to pounce and rip the enemy to shreds.

Brian Lasater
Armies: Imperial Guard, Eldar
Play Style: Dig In
Comments: I have been painting 40K since the original Rogue Trader book came out. It took me about 4 years before I actually played a 40k game. I would have to admit that while I am not a great painter, I am certainly a better painter than strategist. At least if I have a better painted army than my opponent I can walk away with a moral victory.

Andy Baran
Armies: Dark Eldar, Necrons, Dark Angels, Chaos
Play Style: Divide and Be Conquered
Comments: Feints and sacrifice are what my game is all about. Often I like to present an inviting target and use it to tie up the enemy while I get what I need into position. Placing one of my troops into a poor position often makes my adversaries disregard it as a poor judgement call. They won't expect a lot out of it, and thus ignore it completely.

Carl Miller
Armies: a little bit of everything (except for those pond-scum Orks!)
Playing Style: Surgical Strikes
Comments: I started 40k back in the days of Rouge Trader much like the others, but didn't play extensively until the first apperance of the "aspect eldar". They really weened me to my playing style of singling out objectives and taking them with extreme prejudice.

Jeremy Baldridge
Armies: Dark Eldar, Dark Angel successor chapter, Chaos/Slaanesh
Play Style: Zoom Kaboom
Comments: I started with 40k in 1990 with Rogue Trader, and then took a long hiatus until mid-3rd edition. So far, speedy move-and-shoot units have worked for me, despite being so frail. I'm also an amateur writer, so I hope to make some contributions in that regard. A Dark Eldar Kabal is my current army of choice, but I'll eventually get the other two mentioned forces put together.

Scott Parus
Armies: Orks, Space Marines
Play Style: Orky!
Comments: I am a Warhammer virgin compared to Ben, Brian and even Andy (as you can tell by some of my tactics). With the help of Ben, I hastely put together a 1500 point Ork army and painted them all in under 2 weeks-- thus the reason Ben takes care not to show close-ups of my green minions. (Or you-- Ben.)

Mike Hopkins
Armies: Dark Angels, Tyranids
Play Style: Attack! Attack!
Comments: I began playing 40k back in the Rogue Trader days with vanilla Space Marines. When second edition arrived, I swiftly built a Dark Angels army, which I played for a good long time before finally falling under the influence of the Hive Mind. I have since collected a decent Tyranids force that I just love to play. Now in 40K3, I'm enjoying playing my Dark Angels again (at least until the 'Nids Codex arrives!)
