TURN THREE- Eldar: The Dark Reaper Exarch, his wisdom proven, continued to withdraw despite the calls to honor of the Shadow Weaver crew. The wave serpent's damaged controls caused it to slowly drift forward, nearing the copse of trees that could cause it to crash. The remaining squad of Guardians slipped forward over the wreck of two wave serpents to get Blue Three in their aim.

Bracing themselves on the downed wave serpent of their slaughtered kin, the Guardians opened fire with their shuriken catapults. The air was filled with the angry buzzing of shurikens and the wailing cries of dying men. The Guardians avenged their kin by butchering the squad Blue Three to a man.
Ignoring the Chimera, which did not seem to be a threat any longer, the crew of the Shadow Weaver targeted the men of Green Two. The monomolecular webs leapt high into the air before drifting down onto two troopers. One of them moved slowly and let the web slide off his kevlar, while the other panicked and tore himself to shreds.

The Guardians attempted to charge the men of Blue Two but fell short literally by an eighth of an inch. Across the battlefield, Farseer Meesi guided her jetbike platform mentally, trying to deflect the blows. The Callidus leapt too and for stabbing at the Farseer, the phase sword cutting through the ancient rune armor. Ignoring the pain, Meesi forced herself to take advantage of the opening the Callidus presented. So intent was the Callidus on wounding Meesi, that she left herself open. Too late she felt the witchblade digging deep into her breast. Angrily tossing aside the assassin's body, Meesi guided her jetbike platform forward towards the Guardians.
TURN THREE- Imperial Guard: The Imperial turn began with Blue Two's sergeant ordering his men "Aim low, try to hit the thing underneath!" That's exactly what the men did, and the autocannon rounds damaged the anti-gravity stabilizer. Aboard the wave serpents, a hollow thud was followed by angry sounds as the vehicle began to dive towards the copse of trees. The driver, in complete disregard for his safety, tried to keep the vehicle level so that the Striking Scorpions could attempt to disembark. His brave sacrifice allowed all but one of aspect warriors to escape. The Scorpions took place in the wooded hill near Blue Two, whispering hated promises in their language.
The Chimera crew, ignoring the angry, confused sounds the ogryns were making in the rear, targeted the Shadow Weaver crew again with the transport's armament. Despite the hail of death, only one Eldar died. This did, however, leave one Shadow Weaver without crew. Green Command fired at the remaining Weaver crew, but missed. Green One, firing with its autocannon, grenade launcher, and a single lasgun. This combined fusillade was enough to butcher the remaining two Eldar.

Blue Command, Green Two, and Green Three (all three men), fired at the Guardians that had just decimated Blue Three. In a game of one-ups-manship, the Guardians came out ahead. Five Guardians fell, but the three remaining refused to flee.

The Leman Russ, risking Blue Two to save them, sent a round on top of the heads of the Striking Scorpions. If the shot deviated by only a few inches, it would catch the men of Blue Two. Fortunately, it did not. Unfortunately, the shot was deflected by the old wood of the forest. Despite having all 9 Scorpions in the blast radius, only 4 were atomized.
The ratlings, finally having something to shoot, took aim at the Scorpions. However, the oily smoke and the dense forest caused them to take poor shots. Despite four hits, only one shot found its mark and downed a Scorpion.
