TURN ONE- Eldar: The Eldar line surged towards the Imperial forces. The Wave Serpents clipped forward with the War Walkers nimbly copying them on the south flank. The air filled with a high pitched hiss as the Shadow Weavers launched their monomolecular mesh into the air. The razor sharp nets floated down onto three of the men and the sergeant of Green One. One man followed his sergeant's orders and moved slowly so that the mesh didn't shred him. Two of his squad mates panicked and their thrashing caused the constricting mass to bite deeper. Soon, they were little more than a bloody mess.

The Dark Reaper Exarch, eyes closed in a Zen-like state, suddenly snapped into action. Two missiles spiraled towards the bunker, both hitting home. One hit a structural support and the entire bunker came crashing down. The General and his men were almost buried alive. He sustained a wound trying, in vain, to save his lascannon spotter.
The War Walkers targeting sensors locked onto the men of Green Three and the scatter lasers opened fire with 21 shots. Seven men from Green Three fell with burning holes in their bodies. The survivors grimly held their ground, refusing to believe their commander was dead and demanding vengeance.
On the north end, the Wave Serpent with the twin-linked missile launcher fired at the basilisk, cracking the engine block, but leaving the gun itself intact. The second wave serpent finished the job, its twin-linked bright lances igniting the fuel and ammo of the vehicle. A plume of oily smoke hung over Blue Platoon ominously. The third wave serpent opened fire at Blue Three, the starcannon incinerating two men.
TURN ONE- Imperial Guard: The Imperial Guard began with the Chimera rounding the ruin topped hill, intent on eventually unleashing the Highland Infantry on the Shadow Weaver crew. The battle cannon on the Russ roared its defiance at the Dark Reapers. Despite the template covering all three, the Dark Reapers emerged from the blasted and charred copse of woods unhurt!
Blue Platoon, all three squads, opened fire on the wave serpents that they could see. Three autocannons, 2 melta guns, and a Krak grenade from a grenade launcher opened fire. When the smoke cleared, the serpents remained there, hulking phantoms of fear for those veteran Guardsmen. Blue Command, its shot to the wave serpents blocked by the smoking wreck of the Basilisk, opened fire on one of the War Walkers with its lascannon. One of the frail Eldar war machines was reduced to smoking hulk.

The center of the battlefield became a killing field as both Green One and Green Two opened fire on the War Walkers. The autocannons send a hail of rounds into the machines, sending them crashing to the ground. Only smoldering wrecks remained. Green Command trained its two plasma guns and the lascannon on the seemingly invulnerable Dark Reapers. Two of them were brought down. The aged Exarch pointed at the Lieutenant of Green Command, letting him know that he was next.
