TURN THREE- Eldar: Having done his job, the cowed Fire Dragon lumbered back towards the Eldar line to live another day. A unit of Storm Guardians deployed from the Falcon, marching towards the Lieutenant's disoriented squad. The Banshees did their best to distract the Sentinels away from the Reapers.

Banshees make a vain attempt to impede the Sentinels. Storm Guardians bear down on the Lieutenant's squad.

As Lt. Lasater lay unconscious, his squad cut down one Guardian with entrenching tools, but two of their own were mercilessly hacked apart. They fell back out of the woods, unable to be caught by the pursuers. On the other end of the battle, one of the Banshees was kicked down and crushed underfoot by a Sentinel. The remaining Praetorians were wiped out by the advancing Guardians.

Defenders crush the remnants of the Praetorian infantry. The Farseer apparently didn't foresee being abandoned.

For the second time, the Farseer hurled his spear at one of the war machines. Its point bit deep into the hull of the Griffon, contacting live shells and bursting the tank from the inside-out. The mystic weapon streaked back to his hand from the heart of the blast. An arc of energy from the Guardians' grav-platform struck and deformed the Iron Chimera's storm bolter. The rest of the Eldar shots were ineffectual.

TURN THREE- Imperial Guard: The Imperials stood their ground, despite the destruction of several mechanized units. Grond, of "Flying Circus" Penal Squad pivoted his autocannon to rivet the Falcon, but its armor resisted the gratuitous spray of lead. More disappointment was felt as the secondary Basilisk lobbed a shot at the nest of Dark Reapers, only to detonate behind them and cover them with dirt. Infuriated by the deaths of their fellow company men, the passengers of the Iron Chimera flew from the hatches
and peppered the side of the Guardians with lasgun fire. Three were caught in the hail and fell with smoking holes in their mesh armor. Nearby, the thump of the mortars preceded an explosion of screams and shrapnel as four Storm Guardians met their incendiary doom.

The Iron Chimera's squad scatters out at the Guardians Deadly mortar fire thunders down on the Storm squad.

As the remaining Storm Guardian regained his senses and prepared to run, he gazed across to witness the berserked men of the Iron Chimera fall upon the remaining Guardians and Farseer. The Farseer was wounded and bleeding, but managed to stand while a Guardian was brutalized into the ground. Only one Imperial fell before the Guardians fled, leaving the Farseer to his fate.

The Guardians are driven back, leaving the Farseer to fight.
