TURN TWO- Eldar: Attempting to hedge fire away from the Reapers, the rightmost Serpent planted itself in front of the advancing Sentinels. Meanwhile, the Guardians pressed forward, despite the drop in their numbers. The remaining Serpent careened beside the cluster of Imperial tanks, and the scarlet-clad Fire Dragons shuffled out while charging their weapons.
The aged Farseer made his presence known by hurling his spear towards the Iron Chimera; its monomolecular blade nipping the barrel from the heavy bolter before returning to his hand. With a loud hiss, the entire side of the command Chimera turned to slag as the Dragons fired--vaporizing three inside. In the center of the action, a Ranger drew a bead on Lt. Lasater as he waved on his men. With a puff of red and a gasp, the officer collapsed at the feet of his soldiers. As one man rushed to his aid, the trooper's skull exploded from another sniper round. The entire unit fell to the ground in shock and panic.
Spirit Brother sheared a gun from an advancing Sentinel, as the Fire Dragons clamped bombs onto the side of the Basilisk--bursting it like an insect on a hot grill. This fortune was balanced out, as the Guardian's charge was miserable: the Warlock and a Guardian were trampled and gutted with bayonets.

TURN TWO- Imperial Guard: The Iron Chimera ground forward up the hill, perching over the nest of Praetorians as they locked in melee with the Guardians. The rest of the force held fast, using its time to take clear shots rather than expose themselves. The Sentinels continued to advance, in an attempt to silence the Reapers.

Another round from the remaining Basilisk hurtled into the sky, and landed--disintegrating the jinking Viper in a towering column of dirt, fire, and smoke. A second volley went up as the mortar blast catapulted a Fire Dragon into the air like a rag doll. Hearing the commotion over the commlink about a downed officer, one Sentinel pilot cocked his walker's head and noticed the Rangers perched in the farmhouse. A scorch of light scattered the atoms of one of the three "Glide of Night" Alaitoc, blowing clean through the wall he ducked behind. Three more Dragons and their Exarch were perforated with combined shots from the Iron Chimera and company.
The brawl below the cliff turned against the Praetorians, as two of them fell under Eldar knives while only one Eldar was taken down with them. They clambered back over the dead to flee, as the Eldar tripped up on the corpses in pursuit.
