TURN TWO- Eldar: The Swooping Hawks arrived just behind the Eldar line, and proceeded to shore up the line where it was weakest. The Eldar skimmers ran roughshod over the Imperial armor, with the Viper taking out another razorback and the Falcon smashing the Land Raider with a lucky pulse laser blast.
The Howling Banshee Exarch had no trouble navigating the woods and coming to grips with Commander Farrakhan. With two quick slices of her Executioner she left him bleeding on the ground and dashed after the fleeing command squad. Too late she realized her error: she stopped her headlong charge and found herself alone, deep inside the marine deployment.
TURN TWO- Space Marines: The Saracens moved quickly to navigate around the scattered wreckage. The 3rd Tactical Razorback crunched forward through the trees to make room for the Rhino behind it. The 2nd Tactical squad let loose a blast of plasma that downed the Viper, while the Terminators' heavy flamer baked off the support platform hiding in the trees. Before the smoke had cleared, the Terminators were charging forwards, but were unprepared for the guardians' skillful defense. Only one guardian was killed as the Terminators forced their way into the woods to engage all targets.
