TURN ONE- Eldar: The Eldar wasted no time taking the attack right to the Saracens. In a rather daring move, the Wave Serpent sailed forward and delivered its cargo of screaming Banshees. The Banshees crouched under the running boards and waited while blasts of energy sailed overhead, smashing into the Command Razorback and, hopefully, spilling out its passengers for the Banshees to assault. The Wave Serpent, the Falcon, and the support platform fired bright lances, but to no avail. It was the Viper, sailing into view far to the east, that finally smashed into the vitals of the tank. The passengers hastily bailed out the rear hatches and did a head count: the sergeant and the standard bearer didn't make it out. Fortunately the trees and the cramped quarters slowed the Banshees down, and they could not reach the survivors to assault them.
TURN ONE- Space Marines: The fury of the Saracens was unleashed on the Banshees at hand. Because the Banshees had crept into the woods, and between their tanks, it took several squads to whittle them down. The Terminators casually fired their heavy flamer across the bow of the 3rd Tactical squad's Razorback, killing three Banshees without damaging their brothers' transport. The Command squad and the 1st Tactical got into the action as well, opening fire and killing all but the Exarch. The plasma gunner of the 3rd Tac squad looked past the Exarch and fired at the Wave Serpent, immobilizing its engines and sending it crashing to the ground.
