TURN THREE- Imperial Guard: The Basilisk continued to pound the guardians, and combined with the mortar crews, they forced the Eldar to dive to the ground and take cover. Under the relentless fire of the guard, another half dozen of the guardians and a Warlock fell under autocannon and lasgun fire. Even the ratlings managed to work some magic, wounding the Wraithlord.

In the northeast corner, the Ogryns heard the banshees coming and stomped out to meet them. Unfortunately, once they got to the top of the hill, they realized the banshees were still too far away to charge. They contented themselves by emptying the ammo drums of their ripper guns into the air.

TURN THREE- Eldar: The Farseer stalked forward between the Fire Dragons and the Wraithlord. He engaged the lieutenant's lascannon gunner in a mind war and left him psychically crippled. The Fire Dragons advanced but were still out of range with their fusion guns. They were once again counting on the Dark Reaper Exarch to at least shake the Exterminator crew; his shot was true, but he succeeded only in immoblizing the big tank-- her guns would still fire.

The Banshees swept forward with renewed energy as soon as they saw the Ogryns. They cut two of them down and forced the last to flee; their frenzied pursuit was more out of bloodlust than an eagerness to escape the battlefield. Nevertheless, they had almost broken past the Imperial permiter.
