TURN THREE- Tzeentch: The Raptors forced their captive to touch the squat little idol in the temple, and watched mesmerized as she was possessed by a Lord of Change. While the warp was still open, a group of Flamers bounded through and raced off down the hill. The Lord of Change summoned a bolt of energy and sent it hissing towards the Predator, but the bolt lacked strength and fizzled against the armor. The rest of the army was eager to join the Daemon in the action, but they were encumbered by their own numbers-- it was all the cultists could do to stay ahead of the relentless pace of the Thousand Sons.

TURN THREE- Nurgle: Just as the battlefield was overrun by the daemons of Tzeentch, the Sorceror Lord of Nurgle teleported in with his retinue. The Lord wanted to teleport in behind the main army, in order to punish the marines in close combat-- but his sergeant persuaded him to land BETWEEN the Lord of Change and the main force-- the rationale being that the Raptors were too great a threat, and that close combat would come soon enough if they teleported into the very middle of the enemy army. Their teleport co-ordinates were spot on-- they landed just behind the Raptors. The Dreadnought opened fire first, killing one Raptor and wounding the Daemon with his plasma cannon. The retinue then opened fire with their melta barrels and autocannon, killing three more. The remainder took to the air and fled. The Daemon was still a threat, though-- the Predator opened fire and hit with both lascannons, but the shots had no effect. The Veterans nailed him with a surprise krak missile and wounded him despite his protective aura.
