TURN TWO- Orks: The Wraithlord stood largely unchallenged in the center of the board, and the Warboss was only a few yards away. Making the ultimate sacrifice for their man Bugsnak, the second mob of Trukk boyz piled out while their trukk went screeching away. The trukk put a couple of rokkits into the Wraithlord, as did the Kanz which were trundling through the ruins, but they simply could not dent its armor. The Flash Gitz, unnervingly accurate once again, put six bulls-eye shots into it, including two which seemed sure to fell the Wraithlord-- but once again its armor held firm. Seeing no other choice, the Nob and his boyz charged. The Wraithlord easily singled out the massive Mega-Armor and crushed the Nob before he could bring his power klaw into action.

The Warboss fought on in the center of the board, inspired by the brave sacrifice of his trukkers. His bionik arm, almost with a life of its own, lashed out and killed a Banshee, and his power klaw made a mess of the ageless beauty of the Exarch. He set his boyz into a clumsy run to help the trukkers, but their cumbersome gear held them back. Most of the Ork army was now open and vulnerable in the middle of the city, so the Boss signalled the Rhino to get to cover. They kicked into high gear and headed for the parking structure, hoping to get out of sight of the Reapers' guns.

TURN TWO- Eldar: The Starcannon took aim at the fleeing Rhino while the Farseer once again searched the warp for the strings of fate that would Guide their hand. Once too often to the well, apparently: a screaming Rat-Thing leaped out of a rift in the warp and pointed menacingly at him for a few moments. Pointing... Still pointing... The Farseer's heart skipped a beat before the thing vanished from whence it came, without a word or any kind of explanation. Needless to say, the incident rather unnerved the guardians, who quite simply forgot to fire their Starcannon, and the Rhino made it to safety.
The Dark Reapers, salty veterans of a thousand wars, were not remotely concerned with the Rat-Thing. Their more pressing concern was the Ork Kanz making their way to the Wraithlord. They would easily turn the tide of battle there, and they must be stopped. The sent dozens of high powered shots into the mob, but the Kans were safely inside the rubble and escaped unharmed.

The Eldar were not finished yet. Sailing out of the blue sky to the south, the Swooping Hawks arrived on the field. The fired their grenade harnesses over the Grots, killing five of them and sending the remainder scurrying under the septic tanks for cover. Their attack sent them sailing down right by the Flash Gitz. Four lasblasters sang out and four Gitz were killed; the Exarch sent his Web of Skulls cracking into the Nob, wounding him. The Nob turned tail and fled the battle.
