TURN TWO- Chaos: With the discipline characteristic of Space Marines, more Chaos forces were soon battle-ready. The Raptor and the missile-squad moved into position. A blast of plasma from the Dreadnought reduced the trukk to a pile of slag, wounding one of the Nobs. The Plague Marines leapt out of the front hatches of the Rhino, bolters ablaze, killing about a half-dozen Grots. The Skarboys found this uproariously funny, but funnier still the fact that these humies had the audacity to come withing charging distance of a twenty-strong mob of hardened Goffs!
Back in the center, the Archon pumped his body full of drugs again-- and stumbled as the drugs began to overcome his system. Despite the cries from the nearby Orks, encouraging him to slay the Retinue and take his chances with the Sorceror, the Archon decided to ignore the retinue and concentrate on the enemy commander. The Archon easily killed the Sorceror, but the immense return volley of power fists and chainfists easily found their mark despite the Shadow Cloak. A fine spray of Archon-scented mist wafted over the Orks. The Warboss looked at his Nobz... realized he was the last remaining leader... and yelled RUN!

TURN TWO- Orks: The Wartrakks, the Lootas, and the Lobba crewed leapt into action. The Lobba killed one of the approaching Raptors while the Trakks zoomed south to help out the trukk boyz. The Lootas fired their heavy bolters into the Plague Marines, but were far more successful at hitting themselves than any of the enemy. Three Lootas fell to friendly fire and the remaining two fled the battlefield!

The battle between the Orks and the Plague Marines was joined! The Plague Marines killed two Orks, the Orks killed two Plague Marines, and the combat was a draw. The Runtherd pushed his Grots into the battle, but they served little purpose other than to soak up the Marines' attacks. The trukk boys bailed out behind the Rhino and fired their bolters at the Raptors, to no effect. Their burna boy and Nob piled into the back of the Rhino, expecting to quickly take it apart, but found the thing infested with damned Nurglings! They couldn't even hope to hurt it with those pustulent little bastards swarming all over it.

TURN TWO- Dark Eldar: The Dark Eldar quickly got a Ravager, a Talos, and a Raider into action. They made a hasty pact with the Chaos forces and vowed to help hunt down the Ork Warboss. The boss took a wound from a Raider-mounted Disintegrator. Seeing that the Warboss was protected under a couple of Kustom Force Fields, and knowing he was quite prepared to throw Grots, Mekboyz, even his Nobs into the path of any further shots, and most importantly still feeling the sting of the initial betrayal of their Archon, the Ravager chose to turn its formidable firepower on the Chaos Terminators. There were no survivors.
The melee turned unpleasant for the Orks. Ignoring the Grots underfoot with utter disdain, the Plague Marines killed five Goffs without suffering a single casualty in return.
