TURN TWO- Dark Eldar: Showing the patience of their race, the Dark Eldar once again poured all five disintegrators into the damaged bunker. Despite the fact that the supports were already crumbling, the massed firepower only managed to weaken the bunker further. |
TURN TWO- Sisters of Battle: The Retributor Squad arrived in the southern ruins, signalling the beginning of the end for the Dark Eldar. Following her own agenda, the Callidus Assassin appeared amongst the crew of one Raider, somersaulted off the back end, and fired her neural shredder across the brain pans of the crew. Although the drivers of two nearby skiffs were stunned, the Callidus was unable to cause any damage in close combat. She was left feeling extremely vulnerable...
Meanwhile, the Canoness moved forward in her Immolator, supported by the Rhino who raced ahead to crossfire any Dark Eldar who might survive the inevitable crash. The Heavy Flamer on board took out the skiff, and six Dark Eldar warriors went down with the flaming wreck. The survivors wisely jumped clear of the Immolator's range. Down at the southern bunker, the leading Raider had strayed just a bit too close, and the flamer within the bunker sent it, too, crashing to the earth in flames. This time the Dark Eldar had better luck, with a full eight of them escaping.
