TURN THREE- Tyranids: The battle was getting grim, but no worse than was expected. The Gargoyles still failed to show, and the Venom Cannons all tried desperately to stun the Leman Russ tanks who were eagerly warming up their Demolisher Cannons. No luck. The best thing to happen for the Tyranids was a near miss by a spore mine, which landed close enough to the command squad to possibly cause some trouble later.

TURN THREE- Imperial Guard: It was the moment every tank commander dreams of. A huge squad of hard targets clumped together in front of the Demolisher Cannon. The first tank missed, killing a few Genestealers skulking behind the hill, but the second shot was spot on, wiping out an entire squad of Tyranid Warriors in one deafening roar.

The Mortar teams were equally efficient, killing off the remaining seven Hormaguants with a couple of excellently placed salvos.

Finally, the Ratlings appeared, but were so far afield they would be of no use in this battle.
